I was actually looking for grit to buy in my neighbouring garden centre, they didn't have but as it is also a shop that sells pet articles, I found something I thought could substitute the grit, it was sold in big bags, had the appearance of grit but white coloured. The name on the bag says: sepiolite.
I looked up in Google and it seems to be a mineral that occurs naturally in Spain.
One of the application seems to be cat liter.
I wonder now if anyone has experience with using it in a soil mix for planting and what where the results ?
