New to Hoyas and this forum

Claremont, NC

I recently "found" hoyas. I expect to have an order coming this week that includes Carnosa Picta, Cummingiana, Carnosa tricolor, and a variegated Kerrii. At a local greenhouse I found what I believe are Krimson Princess and Krimson Queen. also at Lowes I found a Kentiana. I believe I am becoming addicted, on top of the many, many Av's, streps and regular houseplants I have also become addicted to. My DH is a saint!
If there is any advice on the care of these beauties or any suggestions on any more easy growing plants, please let me know. I have my radar looking out for a lucanosa.
Thanks, Sandi

Hi Sandi - welcome to the hoya forum!! There are a bunch of really knowledgable and fun people here - trust me, it won't be long until you're hopelessly addicted!! If you look at the top of this forum, you will see a "sticky" thread. You should be able to find alot of information on the care and feeding hoyas on that thread. Any specific questions can be answered by some of our more "seasoned" hoya growers. Again, welcome to the forum, and hide your checkbook!!! Karen

Welcome Sandi, sounds like you have a nice collection going. Karen has directed you to the right place, lots of info up in the stickies.

Welcome princess sandi to our passive little group of obsessive, hoya-addicted persons. Yes, we'll help you lots; yes you'll want more, lots and lots..Fortunately, we know where to find them....hee hee hee.

that's funny, I'm not the Princess, that is my cat's name. I went to HD today and got what I believe is a Tsangii, even though the tag says Bolibata. The plant man at HD say's in a week or two they will be getting more, UH OH!!
What have I done??

Sandi,
Welcome to the forum!! I hope you have at least a 60 hour a week job and a LOT of money in the bank because you have just fallen victim to an addiction way more serious than crack!!! Well maybe it isnt that serious but trust me before it's all said and done you'll have more hoyas than you have space to keep them. Trust me I know!!!
