I'm ordering lots of the $2 siberian iris on this site. If you want to join in, email me RIGHT NOW!!! as I'm sure they will go very quickly. We have to buy 5 of each kind ordered, so a very good deal.

Siberian Iris sale
Meant to say that I have a US address just across the border so while we still need a phyto cert. there is no problem with Canada Customs etc etc.

Ginny
Hi,
Does this mean they can't send to us up here?
Ann
No, Ensata can send to Canada, no problem. They ship world wide. I've often ordered from them in the past to Canada, before I acquired a US address. Just that with the US address it is about a week faster shipping and US postage is much less expensive.
I thought that as we have to order in fives for each iris, it would be good for a group order.
Ginny aka inanda
I also wanted to say that if you want, any of the day liiescan be sent at the same time. There are still quite a lot of nice $3 ones left at Ensata.
inanda
Did I make it clear that you can order ones and twos and I'll put them together in groups of 5. Also, there may be some overs - say if we have 4 and need one more to make up a 5 so I hope that you will all take one each say, or the overs. We will see if it comes to that.

Usually I send by Canada Post. Large boxes - usually TBs in July, go by bus. Depends where you live. Orangeville, by mail. Local Ont. (Thunder Bay, Kenora etc) - by bus usually.
A couple of years ago, siberians & Louisiana iris were caught in the Canada Customs strike. They were just short of a month between shipping date and delivery here. They were all just fine, due to the wonderful packing. Some of them had even grown while in the dark boxes.
So I don't think you have to worry.
After the customs strike, that was when I decided a US address was needed for iris and lily US orders. It works well. No problems with border customs at all. I always bring things across legally, with a phyto.
Ginny
Thanks, Sammigirl. Will dmail you.
Hi All.
The Ensata $2 iris have been so successful that I think I should close the order tomorrow night and send it in on Friday, to make sure we get all the ones we want.
Just wanted to let you know so that everyone can send in their orders. before 9.00PM Tomorrow Thursday.
Ginny
Payment instructions>
Send me either a chq. or money order in US$ for your iris & daylilies.
ordered.
When I receive the shipment, then I'll be sending everyone an invoice in Cdn $ which will cover the following - divided by the number of iris.
US postage from Ensata
cost of phyto
Then to each individual invoice I shall add individual postage/bus cost.
Any questions, please dmail me.
Ginny
PS. Some people are ordering Japanese iris (not on sale) with their orders. These can also be shipped in the spring with the Siberians and daylilies.
People have been asking me about plants not on sale on the Ensata website. Certainly go ahead, daylilies, hostas, japanese iris can all be ordered for spring delivery.
All the $3 daylilies are sold out as are quite a few of the sibs. I am sending Dmails to all who have ordered.
After I received an email from Ensata listing sold outs, late last night I immediately placed our order. Good news and not, for some. I'll know better next year and place our order right away, adding to it instead of the way I did it this year. All the sold outs can be bought at the normal price though, one of. Also, people wanted to know about hostas and Japanese Iris. They can be dug and shipped with our order too.
Ensata is SHOCKED at the sold outs. This has never happened to them before. The power of Daves Garden I think.
Ginny
Great job Ginny! Oh yeah, the buying power of DGers for sure, lol.
Thanks for all the time your putting into this,
Erynne
yes, thankyou Ginny for taking care of all this for us
We Appreciate You !

Oh boy , snooze I loose. I was busy last few days and now I have missed. If you need to send some to somebody cause there was a mistake just email me. I only have one color of Siberian( a friend of my mom's , mom) brought her a chunk from Germany some 60 years ago and its a piece of that one that I have in my garden.
I am up for just about anything if you need a person to fit in there somewhere.
Ann
Here we are folks. The Ensata order has arrived - a week later than expected. As we are faced with a long weekend I intend to soak the iris over the weekend and ship on Tuesday. Think this will be far safer than perhaps having them sitting in a hot van somewhere.
Just to let you know.
They are quite beautiful plants. The hostas are awesome, the sibes and JI's just lovely plants.
Think iris.
inanda
YES cant wate to get them,
you must have quite the aray of plant there now.
