Hi Alice, found them at Lowes, near the area where the orchids are. They're in small pots but only $2.49 each.
I call it Micans, have seen it as velvet leaf as well. More difficult of a grower for me. I brought mine to work and it is diong great under the light on my filing cabinet now.

I find mine to be a slow-grower, too. It seems to put out a leaf every couple of months, much too slow for me. I have it stuck in a corner window until it fills out, so I don't have to 'watch' it.
