flea beatles

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Every year I have a big problem with flea beatles. Does anyone have a solution for them? I try not to use any sprays in the garden. I try to find pests and erradicate them by hand; however I don't think this method will work in their case! Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sue

I'm considering trying this for the first time this year:

I have 5 raised beds, so it would fit well.

Lots of threads on this. That doesn't mean "don't post this question" at all: I just think you might get some good ideas if you do a search for "flea beetles" while indicating the organic forum, since you don't want to use conventional sprays. I've had luck with neem sprays, and there's a tinfoil trick I'd try on the soil if potatoes didn't need hilling. :)

Good luck!

johnsonjrbm I'll give this a try! Seems relatively inexpensive I think I'll experiement with one just to see what results I get.
Thanks,Zeppy, I'll check them out.
