Your posts reminds me that i must get down to my 86 year old favorite aunt's house to take cuttings of her beautiful Rose of Sharon that she has enjoyed her entire adult life.....great pic of the day.....

They root pretty easily too! I had one years ago that looked identical to that photo. It came from a friend I worked with in the 70's who got it from his mother's yard in North Carolina. I rooted it, planted it in the ground and it lived for quite a few years. Then we had a very hard freeze and it never came back in Spring like some other's do.

I have some Red Hibiscus that I need to take cuttings of .... if I ever get out there in the yard!
