I bought 3 thermometers from G.Q.F. mfg . co. from savannah GA and all three read something different when in the same incubator.
I need a more reliable thermometer for my incubator. Can't find one locally
any clues?

I got one but it was 50 bucks....but its dead on all the time
I have to check with my x for the name of the place we got it

it actually looks like a people thermometer
with the end stuck in a bottle of water
They use it in professional labratories
I lost so many hatches because of those unreliable ones
(I one time tried 7 of them at the same time
all read something different)
I even had better luck with one of those meat thermometers...
just hard to find one that goes below 100
I went to the Brinsea site and ordered a digital incubator thermometer. It cost about $20. Works great. Batteries for it are about $1.49 at the hardware store so it is cheap to operate.
