I purchased a second hand larger 19" crt monitor (SyncMaster 955DF) to go along with my NVIDIA GeoForce 2mx400 card. My old sony monitor didn't have a flicker problem but this one does. On monitors I can always notice the slightest flicker. I have tried looking for newer drivers for my video card but haven't had much luck. Any suggestions?
I also need to know how to calibrate the color on a monitor to give me true colors.
One more problem I just noticed. As I am writing this the words are disappearing off the screen. I have to keep moving the scroll bar back and forth. How can I fix this.

Almost ready to go back to my old, old, monitor.
