Greenhouse Space.

Louisville, KY

Here are some pics of my new project in the greenhouse. I have at the top a small shelf that holds about 1/2 inch of water. This is manly for Colocasias and other partially aquatic plants that like it really really hot and sunny. Under that is my new area for hanging pots manly just wire mess hung up and each pot has a wire to hold it in place. I am doing a ton of aroid propagation and odd epiphytic ferns orchids and others. The last is the larger table this has a capliary mat on it and stays constantly damp. This area is for other aroids that may need more attention or move out fast. Under the table is were I keep a lot of dromant tubers usually Amorphophallus or something similar. I am working on cleaning and weeding everything it will be a long week but so far so good.

Very beautiful!
What temps (high and low) and humidity are you able to maintain in the GH?

Well the floor is cement and it is heated with pipes that carry hot water from a boiler under the floor. It usually stay about 60f as a lot and 95 as a high. As for the humidity its about 110% LOL. If you wear glasses they fog up instantly and in most cases in the mornings their is fog in the greenhouse. I have a misting system it comes on every 30 minutes for about 15 seconds. I change it depending on the months during the summer its on a lot. I have to greenhouses like this.
