Looking for Magnolia

Hi!
I'm looking for seeds from a magnolia tree grown in a northern zone, hardy to at least zone 5. Can anyone help?

In case you were wondering why nobody responded to this thread...

It's probably too early for magnolia seeds this year, unless you want old seed from last year.

Down here, we have no ripe seeds just yet, and you certainly won't want to try to germinate magnolias unless they are fresh seed.

I don't have magnolia myself so I guess I never thought about it taking so long to ripen from the spring flowering, I'll try again in the fall.
