I'm always curious to know what everyone else is planning to buy as soon as the weather breaks.(those of us who are not fortunate enough to live in South Florida!) I get all excited and start browsing the next, making lists of all the pretties that I MUST have. I've started my list and it goes like this:
1.) Tradescantia 'Maidens Blush' @ Plant Delights
2.) Philodendron 'Calkins Gold'
3.) Philodendron Cruentum
4.) Philodendron 'Strawberry Shake'
5.) Philodendron 'Hansoti's Gold'(would love to find Golden Erubescens)
5.) Sansevieria Pinguicula(J and J)
6.) S. Dawei(Masai)(same, but not sure on availability)
7.) S. Ballyi Bally(same)
8.) S. Elliptica 'Horwood' FKH 424(same)
9.) S. Bella 'Mutomo'(same)
10.) S. Pearsonii(Desertii)(same)
11.) Begonia 'Little Miss Mummey'(Kartuz if they have it- GHW sold out last year)
12.) Begonia Bunchii(Accents)
13.) Tinantia Prenglei(speckled Wandering Jew)
I prolly won't buy all these, but the Philos are a sure bet for me. Always are.:)

What's on Your Spring Shopping List?
I'm definitely going for a
1) Palisota pynaertii elizabethae http://flickr.com/photos/begonias-photos/328254313/ I've been drooling for this one for months.
and I dont know what a Philo Strawberry Shake is, but I'm SURE I need one of those too!
Lali- I like, I like! It looks like a green Chlorophytum 'Fireflash'. Where on earth did you ever see this to begin with? :)
GH
Oh I have been putting my order together already too. This is my list for Logees order
1.Murraya paniculata "Orange Jasmine"
2.Aeschynanthus radicans
3.Pellionia repens "Trailing Watermelon Begonia"
4.Porphyrocoma pohliana "Rose Pine Cone"
5.Columnea 'Julia'
6.Cissus discolor "Rex Begonia Vine"
and after looking over your list GH I have decided I need:
7.Tinantia Prenglei(speckled Wandering Jew) I think this is wonderful looking!
Nancy
GH, I took that photo at the San Francisco conservatory last year. It's growing in the lily pad room. GHW has them but they aren't cheap. But I must have it!
I had a beautiful Cissus discolor that I found last year at a local nursery, but it's presently in a naked state, not a leaf to be found, but seems to be content in it's dormancy. I'm hoping it pushed out some new leaves soon! It's a top contender for cool leaved plants!
My Spring Shopping List:
Potting Soil
Perlite
Gloves .................. and the most important of all: PLANTS!
Philodendron 'Lemonade'
Philodendron 'Pink Lady'
Philodendron' Pink Princess'
Philodendron 'Strawberry Shake' .... although I haven't seen found this one for sale anywhere! Ok GH .... fess up! Where did you find it?!
And, a few plants for the yard:
Knock Out Roses
Penta's
Guess you can tell by my list, I love Philo's. Don't have many, but could easily get hooked enough to start collecting!
Lin- LOL, the only person that I know that has one for sale is Steve(MiamiMax). :)
What is the difference b/t Pink Lady and Pink Princess?
Is Lemonade vining or self-heading?
GH
GH ... it's a vining one. This place Glasshouseworks has it. Don't remember the price. I just remember seeing a photo and liking the looks of it! :)

edited to say: I'm not sure if the Pink Lady and Pink Princess are the same plant or not.

I found this list of different Philo names .... there's a Pink Lemonade, Pink Lady, Pink Princess - would love to see photo's of some of these!
http://www.aroid.org/cultivars/philodendron.html
I like the looks of 'Lemonade'. Similar color of the self-heading 'Moonlight'.
I plan to make or buy some moss poles for all my large, vining aroids. I have one syngonium twining around a bamboo hoop and I like the look. It's gotten a bit leggy though, so I will cut it back hard next month and watch it let loose!
I'm off to google pics of 'Pink Lady'!
Update: I went in to check that syngonium more closely and was appalled at some of the bald vines. I cut it back a few minutes ago. Couldn't wait. LOL Now I have two cuttings rooting in water! And, of course, there was goldfish plant next to it that looked like it could use a haircut too. So, I have the GF and Syng. rooting in a little green glass of water now.:)
GH
GH sounds like you have been busy.Hey if you need any new rooting containers for those cuttings you should go check out Hollys Rooting Jar Exchange in this forum.hmmm..Sounds like I am doing a commercial huh?
Yes GH .... sign up for a rooting jar ... I'm getting ready to sign my name for the third time. Some folks, I think, are up to their fourth time! I've already sent out 2 jars to different people. We are having a lot of fun with it!
Here's a pic of some Syngonium in a container. It doesn't look as good right now - got hit with a little cold, but it will come back strong in another month or two!
I like the tri-lobed one you just posted too. Is that a mature form of macrophyllum?
Oh My Goodness! I want that Albo Variegata one ... It is Beautiful! I have never seen that one before! Love the white in those leaves! Wow! I am so hooked! That's got to be my favorite one yet!
Neon Illusion is different too! I never knew there were all these different kinds of Syngonium!
The last photo of mine is some a friend gave me .... it grows by her front door and up her little porch, her hubby is always pulling it up and throwing it away! Last year I told her to save it for me, not to let him toss it out! So, she brought me a big pot of it. This friend is not a gardener and not into plants at all. She has a lot of Spider Plants growing around some Oak Trees in her front yard and told me I can take what I want, anytime. I need to get over there and get some of those babies before her DH tosses them out!
Lin
In case you want to go drool...
http://www.agristarts.com/syn_main.htm
I have no clue what Macrophyllum is! Is that a different plant than Syngonium? I am loving your plants! I am going to check out that link above that you just posted!
Macrophylllum is a species syngonium, I believe.
Wow ... Yep, now I'm drooling! But they sell wholesale only! Some really nice plants. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of Syngonium!
Thanks for sharing that link!
Would love to make a trade for a cutting of that Albo Variegata of yours!
Whatcha got in mind? :)
GH
Anything particular you are interested in, or looking for? Hey, I will even go out and buy a plant for you to trade for some of that Albo Variegata! (Can you tell I like it)??!!
Do you collect anything other than the Syngonium's? I have a couple of things on my trade list, but need to look at it, cause I haven't really checked it since I first set it up in October when I joined DG. I have a lot of different house plants.
