another Sahara wind hybrid. This is a small bright colored flower on a tall plant, full of buds. This is a cross of Sahara wind X schizopetalus, flower lasts one day and is orange with a fuschia eye. Different, but no cigar! LOL

will test these this summer for durability, lasting quality and duration of bloom.

Kyle, great flowers as usual!
I plan to make a few crosses with schizopetalus also as I find it quite an interesting flower.
Have you had any other seedlings bloom yet using that species?
Also, will it set seed for you?

Dave, most of the crosses I did with schizo. usually are disappointing in one way or another so I gave up using it .It will cross either way as a rule. Best to use the pollen and NOT use it as a seed parent.
