Leaves from Ebay

Red Oak, NC(Zone 7b)

Well, I couldn't resist taking a peek to see if my leaves had roots. They all do! I'm really excited! Here are there names....

Spectacular(Lyons)
Rebel's Splatter Kake
Sweet Talker
Ma's Corsage(gift)

I also got two free leaves because of the mixup with my order. They were Okie Easter Bunny. They will make great plantlets to trade or giveaway. I just get so impatient. Can't they bloom tomorrow?

LOL, you dug down in the soil lookin for roots!!???? I was afraid to touch mine!!! It sooooo fun. I have a few babies that need separated now but they look so delicate I'm afraid to do that. LOL

I just got my leaves from eBay this past week too. They had been delayed because of the cold weather. I have about 25 leaves set - some of the same as you Achoo. I also got some green edge ones: Chartruese Wonder, Garden Party, Bishop, Pink Endive, & Blueberry Mint. She also sent me extras of Galactic Showers and some other one I can't remember. I will need to build another shelf!!

Beautiful choices. It is always exciting to see those little "ears" peek through the soil. Happy growing!

Yes, I will admit that I did dig in the dirt. I was very, very careful. I couldn't help myself! I had to know , it's like wanting to open up a present. You have to!!LOL!

LOL I know just what you mean, but am always so afraid I'll mess things up. You're going to have some beauties!

My mother bought Okie Easter Bunny at one of the plant shows last fall and it just recently stopped blooming. It has literally bloomed for months! And not just a few flowers, but a big cluster of them. You will be so happy with that one. I've also seen the Rebel's Splatter Kake at some sales; it seems to be very popular in my area, and I can see why! Here's a pic of Mom's Okie Easter Bunny...

Mellie, your Mom's Okie is awesome! I really can't wait for it to bloom now!

I think it's one of her best violets. Mom wicks hers and has it planted in one of those dandy pots where the water is in a reservoir below the pot. She fills it with a mix of water and violet food and it has bloomed for months straight! I know you'll enjoy yours.
