Thanks for the welcomes! I kinda like the shortened name darius. This site has so much information I'm not sure where to begin!

LOL - I haven't even taught him yet how to choose the forums to use :) He's a great gardener, fisherman, keeps horses, dogs, cats and other critters on his property.

And if I can tell a bit about him, he's married to a lovely lady and has 2 great kiddos :) His real name is Jon although darius may have pegged it - he's a Turkey for sure at times - lol :)

Go to "Preferences" Jon, and you can mark any forums that tickle your fancy - darius just got a Sustainable Alternatives forum that sounds very good!

And I will shorten it even further *grin*

Wow. Ok, there is no way I'll be able to live up to the kindness and sweetness that is Dea. As a matter of fact my presence here may tarnish her reputation a little.
Horseshoe - turkeys by the DOZENS travel through our property daily during November, but no relation to myself, I think. I refuse to pen up some critters, especially birds. This life is all about freedom, we all want to be free to do what we want and travel where we like and the animal kingdom should be no exception, ok a few domestic exceptions.
Dea, It may not be too late for you to cancel my subscription! Thanks again for the welcomes.
