MsNova: It looks like a Crocosmia (not sure that is spelled correctly), but I'm not sure. You should go to the Plant Identification Forum and post the photo there .... I KNOW someone will be able to give you a proper ID.

Howdy MsNova....looks like Belcamcanda chinensis "Blackberry Lily", Ive had it for bout 6 yrs and every year to spreads its territory ;-)) It blooms longer with protection from afternoon sun.
