hybridizing gesneriads on Saturday, March 3, to the Omaha African
Violet and Gesneriad Society at 1:30 p.m.
By all accounts, it should be wonderful.

Thanks so much Key for the heads up and link,It would be amazing to be able to go to something like that unfortunately I won't be able to attend because I won't have a way to get there : ( .... but I am hoping I can talk my daughter or hubby to take me down to the Omaha African Violet and Gesneriad Club Show and Sale March 24-25, in Omaha.I just found out about it by nosing around on that link so I am really excited about it : ) And here I thought there were never any shows around here.LOL Key it looks as if I owe you a ((Huge Thank You))

4-5 hour drive for a plant meeting is quite a trip!
Well, I am kidding, in the sense that I've done it before too. On the one hand, I look at the gas/plane $$ and wonder how many plants I could order instead, but on the other hand, there's a lot to gain from going to these things.....
I'm still trying to figure if I can go...lol...got a little tyke here and not sure he'd be welcome at the show. ; ) However, I might be able to hitch a ride to Omaha...my parents go there often enough.
Okay, it won't work. Drats!! That would've been cool seeing you there, if you'd been able to go, Nancy. ; ) Especially now that I realize it was a SALE, too! lol
