I don't know if anyone remembers when I posted a thread about my new Samoyed, Mishik. He is growing up big and handsome (60# at last weight), and unfortunately some of his cute puppy habits aren't cute any more. One bad habit at a time... this one is the worst.
I tried to explain to my DB that nipping and tugging on clothes is cute when they are puppies, but he wouldn't listen and I wasn't home enough to train him myself. Now he is a big boy and he still does it - and it hurts! No matter how we try to discipline him he thinks we are playing and gets all the rowdier. Does anyone have any tips? I love him dearly, and I think I FINALLY found an obedience class that meets when I can go, but it doesn't start for another month. I don't have children, and he is good around the cats. I am going to be home for the next three months (bliss!), and really want to get a handle on this.
Here is a photo of my boy - he is about 7 months old in it. I really need some more recent pictures - maybe I will get some of him in the snow when I get home this weekend.
