Our evening news had nurses on call. I called and one woman told me pull up www.bonsecours.com on the web and click on the red heart attack information. There is a questionaire which diagnoses the likelehood of a stroke or heart attack. Mine wasn't that good since I need to lose about 30 pounds and EXERCISE. These two things would change my profile.
They offer follow up for free, I believe, and will administer cholesterol tests and BP checks (at least that is the way I understood the lady.) The profile can be scary because a little graph is on the left hand side with colored bars. Green is good, but the bar can expand to yellow then red (bad) so you get an idea of how bad it is proportionately in a number of categories. They provide a summary and an opportunity to sign up without cost.
