New growth let the addiction begin!

I thought it was too early to see new growth in my flowerbeds but, oh boy, was I wrong!! I was pleasantly surprised this weekend to see that lots of stuff is starting to green up already -- Possum Haw, Carolina Buckthorn, Rusty Blackhaw Viburnum, Gayfeather, Mexican Mint Marigold, Mealy Blue Sage, Nanho Blue Butterfly Bush, Bog Sage -- all starting to put out new growth already. The St Augustine is starting to green up as well. I feel my Plant Addiction "springing" into life again! :-)

Are there any signs of new life in your yards?

My daylilies are coming up, I've got daffodils getting ready to bloom, and an iris that I thought was dead has reappeared.

I've also got most of the veggie garden in and crossing fingers for continued good weather.

I've got DL popping up too. And my roses are covered with new leaf buds. I cleaned out one of my rose beds and it felt sooooo good to have that dirt under the fingernails again. I haven't watered in awhile (and neither has God unfortunately), but the dirt was still nice and soft. My Erlicheer daffs are blooming. Paperwhites will bloom soon. Hyacinths are blooming now, actually coming to the end of their bloom.:( They are so pretty, I really need to plant a bunch more of those where I can see them better from my kitchen window. They bloom when nothing else does.
