Nice photo of the leaves. I have grown this plant for a about 4-5 years now and I really like it. The leaves can take on many shades of green to purplish depending on sun levels. Mine stay shades of green, since they are both planted in a fair amount of shade.

Thanks, I didn't know the leaves changed shades. Maybe I'll put one in the sun too...

The woman that I purchased mine from had one where the leaves where taking on a different color (purplish) and she said it was the same one that I had previously purchased from her, just that she had it growing it in different light conditions...it looked like a whole different plant. Unfortunately mine stay green....don't misunderstand me...I really like the plant.

Yes I like it too, the one I have only gets morning sun, so it stays green like yours.
I think it self seeded a little so if I have another I'll try it in the sun.
