Allium

Hi dear Daver`s a little question regarding allium sphaerocephalon.

They were supposed to be planted in September- December and them bloom in June-July.
Well, as you might have gueesed they were not planted as they should have, and I am
wondering if they need a cool period for them to bloom? If yes for how long, more a less, I could put them I the refrigerator.

They don't require all that much cold weather here--they just aren't extremely long-lived here though. A couple, three seasons max with our heat. They tend to pop up quick for me in fall, whenever planted, and wait until spring to bloom so I would say yes.
