On Monday, Feb. 26 I am leaving for Palawan in the Philippines on a Hoya and Orchid collecting trip. I am traveling with Ted Green, his wife and another couple from California who are Orchid collectors. I have been quiet about it because I don't believe in 'letting the cat out of the bag' .... and I have to say I am really REALLY excited!!! We will be gone 2 weeks...travelling 'low'. We have all of our shots, malaria pills, meds, etc. My wardrobe is surgical scrubs...with a designer twist in all cotton....I am sure you will see pictures.
Please...wish us luck. Ted Green is a hoot...his wife, Dorothy, is a wonderfully wonderful woman and I know nothing about the other couple. We will be together like flies on XXXX for two weeks....I am sure we will have a lot of laughs!!!!
We may or may NOT bring back hoyas. The laws are very strict and unless we can find a legal avenue...we will come back with only pictures and lots of memories....

Oh what fun. Great idea on the scrubs, I think I'll get me some to garden in.
Linda....they are SO comfy...but try to get the all cotton ones. I wear them here when the mosquitos are really nasty and I am trying not to DEET my whole body!!!
