bargain bulbs

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7b)

I found these plus some African lily bulbs. I am not going to knock these types of stores selling bulbs, small plants, etc. I have had good luck with them in the past. Some have grown as tall as 5 ft. and bloomed all summer. All for $15. Wish me luck and I hope I have a few blooms.

Here's the front of the packages.
Dahlia Dinnerplate, not sure of the color, they had pics of purple, red, orange and yellow, Dutch Iris and Ranunculus.

My only comment would be that Dutch Iris are normally fall planted. Have you had those work for, you planting in spring? Would love to hear how everything does!!

The only thing I've planted so far is the dahlias. I've had the flu on top of an acute sinus infection. Here's the dahlia that I started indoors. This one has a long shoot.

Here's a closeup of it. Don't pay attention to the foil around that corn plant. Had to do something to keep one cat from using it as his litterbox LOL
