my african violets

Crossville, TN(Zone 6b)

I bought these about 7 mo. ago also from Walmart, have since repotted them and keep them in my southern facing kitchen window, they were bloomed when I got them, then blooms died, but these are new blooms. I'm so happy!

Those are so pretty! It's so much fun when they bloom :-) My WalMart hardly ever has any violets, but I keep checking...maybe someday.

Lindenhurst, NY

They both are really pretty. The purple is my favorite (I love purple flowers). Isn't it exciting when you can get them to rebloom? I'm always excited when the plants I buy rebloom, because then I know I'm doing something right.

thank you everyone! My stepmom told me about the morning sun thing, and she was right. When I put them in the area that got morning sunlight, they really started to do better. I am thrilled to death!
