my little pack of "Alpine Alexandria" strawberry seeds lists germination time as 20 - 30 days. The last time I tried to grow this kind of seed, NONE of them grew. ;(
Every other time I've planted seeds requiring a 'long' germination time, they've gone way over the 'alloted' time, sometimes with very few actually coming up......... so I planted the strawberry seeds on the 6th of February.
Most had sprouted by Valentines day...... ;) The plants are still small, but are growing under the lights...
Tell me these seeds know that spring will be early? lol
Any other seed starting 'disasters' or 'surprises'?
