NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

I saw this story on a big threat to bees across the country. Poor bees...so many problems and what's next?

Linda, this is not good news. Howard Garrett has been talking about this for a long time. I think his website is www.dirtdoctor.com. Check it out.

They don't have any problems around my place--I can't even get to the clero u or the coral vine to trim them between March-Dec.

We used to have a wild colony in a hallow of a very large oak tree. The colony must have been gigantic because their noise could be heard from several hundred yards away. The colony disappeared in late winter about two years ago. I wondered what could have happened to them and their honey. Couldn't check though, the branch is about 25' above the ground.
