Get with me in the Spring and I will most likely be able to send you seedlings, this plant is native to our area and I let a vine go to seed in my flower bed last summer.

Judy, do you put the native ones on a trellis? I am looking for Lady Margaret seeds.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Could I get some seeds or seedlings? I've been wanting this plant for a long time.

It was right in the middle of my sedum so I just let it go. I really don't have any place for any more trellis in that flower bed and a definite lack of ambition in trying to transplant into another area where I could provide it with a trellis.

P.S. Steve, your envie will be on its way tomorrow ;o)

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

I have the native ones too. I just love the scarlet color of the Lady M. Maybe someone will have a few seeds to spare or point us in the right direction to purchase them.

I just read on an internet search that they produce few seeds and those seeds are not viable because it is a hybrid. So apparently, you need a rooted cutting to start growing one of these vines. :-( Bummer!!!
