shooting star

This is the shooting star-
Carol. This is a picture- I just set this guy on the shelf of the green house and never watered it. Nothing, don't pay attention to it, and it does it's thing. So far, that's the only thing I know about Hoyas...don't water...is this a non terrestrial..like orchids? and bromeliads?
I probably should use the ignore tactic on more of my plants..they probably would thrive and prosper!

RJ, that is beautiful and how rewarding it is when they are so happy to be left alone that they bloom!. I started learning that lesson with my succulents.

I made comments on the fertilizer thread...but I would water it a bit more often!!! Unless it is getting enough humidity from the air...but still..."Shooting Stars' really like water. Whatever you are doing you are a lucky guy!!

I do have the humidity high in the green house.

Cindy..I am figuring out that I just need to leave well enough alone sometimes. I have an area by the back fence, when plants seem to be looking bad, I take them and put them back there out of my eyesight, and 9 out of 10 of them improve. I think Gardeners feel motivated to try and help the plant get better when they see it everyday...most time it needs less loving care...lol..!
