Alice, that is beautiful. I'm jealous! I can't wait until mine start blooming again. I love the variegation and golden color on your snowbank. My variegated ones are cuttings I just started so it will probably be a while before mine look like yours. Thanks for the pic.

This will be my third year for mine and I haven't had bud yet!!
Right now it's only about a foot tall, stalk.
I envy your beautiful blooms!!
It has been such a slow grower for me.

Wow, Alice! Beautiful flowers. My Snowbank is still a tall stick with a small crop of leaves at the top. No 'Y' yet. Great job. I agree with Bonnie on its slow growth.

Your Snowbank is beautifull. I need to get a new one becaouse mine died before it bloom and I did not see how pretty it was. Thank you for sharing it with us. Joan

Very pretty, Alice. It wouldn't bloom for me.

For blooms, grow Snowbank well, fertilize every few waterings, and wait until it forms a canopy.
Then it will flower frequently. Snowbank takes some maturity to start flowering well.
In the wait, I just enjoyed the foliage :-)

Thanks for the info, Alice. Mine is still 2' tall. It probably needs a lot more fertilizer than I have been giving it. I'll try your suggestion this spring. I love the foliage, too. I'm a sucker for variegated plants.

Really lovely blooms way to go..

The form is so lovely with the tendrils pointing up. This plant is beautiful without flowers so they are sort of like an added bonus.

The foliage on this brugmansia is amazing. Especially in spring.

I feel bad for it many times, as it gets criticism.
You can't just plant it out and forget it.

Finding the right sport for it is first. Hot sun is too harsh.
It likes some filtering. And it likes to not dry out too much.
It grows slowly. But once it gets to the maturity .. thick stems and a canopy, it does alot better.
It can be given some neglect then and still do fine.
To grow it well just takes a little extra care and patience.

Oh Alice, thanks so much ! She is quite beautiful !!! I have deliberated over buying SnowBank for over a year. With the tips you just shared I am ready to "take the plunge". It wasn't the price, it was the "finicky" part that held me back. Now I think I can, I think I can, LOL. I have a Herrenhauser Garten that is very fussy, I didn't want another one to baby too much *big grin*. I really do love to fuss over them !
God bless and thank you again, Margo

Oops! there goes the oven trimer, brownies are done :)) LOL
