Yellow leaves

I was able to look in my GH today and the leaves on my brugs are turning yellow. The stems look ok. Is there a reason to be alarmed. Thanks

What are the temperatures?

Does it look like the leaves on the photo, where the bottom leaves start to change color? It might be due to the cold. At low temperatures Brugmansia don' t uptake much nutrition and don' t grow much. Mine are growing at 3-5 *C for the time being.

WOW Tonny, are those aurea pods? They look just great.

I missed this thread, sorry John!! Same thing here Tonny, my brugs drop their leaves in the cold. Turn yellow and fall. I then need to cut way back on my watering for they do not use up the water in the pot as fast. And cold and wet make rot.

Tonny, my brugs are in the GH where the temps don't get below 40 deg F. I have several in 5gal pots as well as several in the bubblers. They are all doing the same thing.

You have got a good eye for pods, but I wish they were aurea pods Kelley. They just have aurea shape, but is in fact B. x candida and to make things even worse, they are Nina x unknown LOL
