Happy Valentine's Day!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Hope you're having a great, peaceful Valentine's Day!
Although there's a blizzard outside, I have a red bulb in bloom to celebrate. If you do too, please post a pic!!

Hip hip hooray for the Carina. Lovely red on this rouge day. No snow here, just a good ol nor'easter today with the barometer dropping to a low of 28.85 which is very low (hurricane numbers) with some good strong wind. The girls spent most of the day hunkered down inside. I ordered a nice looking Hippeastrum called Amaryllis Grandeur on sale from Easy to Grow Bulbs. I wanted a couple of things from them ( 20 Gladiolus nanua 'Albus' and a Crocosmia Voyager and a Sandersonia ) so I threw in a couple of other things and I could not not order the hippeastrum. Love to you both and boojum too. Patti

booj--Happy Valentine's Day to you, too! What a pretty cheery Amaryllis in the window!

Love that Dancing Queen and the Red Peacock, too.

Wish I had one to post, but mine are too shy to bloom this year (and lacking some good light and fertilizer, I fear!)

Thanks for the flowers, HSTeacher.

One of my all time favorites. A fiesta on a stick!
