It's so sad. Years ago when I was flying back from Germany for Christmas I remember seeing a cat in her kennel sit out on the flightline for over 1/2 hour, all the other luggage and crates were loaded.... still she sat there. Our plane left and I still remember the lady having a fit because her cat was still on the flight line, it still had not made it on the plane. I could never trust putting my fur child anywhere but under my seat on the plane... but that only works for small critters.
