One of our dogs, Theo, loves to play with his squeeky toys. His favorite at the time is a little red kitty. Instead of the shrill squeek it makes a muffled "pluff" sound. This is good since he has a ritual of playing with his squeeky toy when my husband comes home from work. He is very fond of Bob and I joke that it is his welcome home hunter song. He even has a "beat" instead of just random squeeks. He squeeks it slowly and pauses and then again, over and over.
When Stormy comes around him, she likes to steal his toys. She doesn't play nicely with them but chews them up. She takes care of her own toys, though. LOL
So whenever he tires of it, he either falls asleep with it in his mouth are puts in very close to him so he can know if Stormy tries to steal it.
Here he is with his little toy that he had in his mouth sleeping until I went to get the camera and he woke and moved his head. But it is still a cute picture.
He sounds like a killer when he barks at noises in the neighborhood, but if anyone saw what a real whoose he is, they wouldn't be afraid at all.
