What do you think?

i have been looking for a female husky/lab mix and finally found one 150 miles from me in a public shelter. she is a year old. in all of her pictures online, she looks downcast. i would guess that she had been mistreated at her previous home. i think that with good food, and good treatment she would make a fine pet. have you had experience with an animal like this? do you have any thoughts about this? thank you, barb
