Proud av bingo winner!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Last October I played av bingo and won a box full of goodies including leaf startings, cups/lids and more cups, twine, & a bottle of fertilizer. Most are still alive and one is starting to bloom. Some need to be transplanted into 4" pots. I can't remember winning anything before unless you count the 'Pick-up the ducks' at the fair. Thank you Allison, Lauri and others who hosted this fun event.

Now I'm playing in Janet's bingo and feel lucky! While winning is exciting, playing is just as fun. It's the daily checking and anticipation of watching the threads that I enjoy so much. Deborah♥

These are my first. Winning one would have made me excited. Twenty-eight almost gave me a heart attack! Learning a great deal here about avs. Can't wait to see blooms on these babies!
I can sympathize with Janet when she said she bought some and now doesn't know where to put them. I'm thinking about buying some wrought iron window boxes and hanging them on the inside windows of my sunroom since it's 180* glass panes.
Yes, very nice people and great information being shared on this forum.

They look great. Isnt' a/v bingo great? I love it, I actually won last month and have a great 20.00 gift cert for violet barn. I'm just afraid to order now because of the freezing weather. I may have to wait till March or April.

Thanks for all of your compliments. I'm surprised and proud they are growing. I thought avs would be harder to grow. However, watering from the bottom and keeping them in small containers seem to be two of the biggest reasons they have survived. New to gardening inside and outside. I've been growing plastic and silk plants all my adult life ☺
Yes, playing av bingo is fun because the threads stay busy with folks checking in so often. Great to hear you won too, maureen! Yea, if I were you I'd try to hold off until spring weather to redeem that winning GC.

Good luck in the latest AV bingo!
