Good Morning! I got your seeds today...thank you! I FINALLY got all my seeds "sorted" (somewhat, but better than they were) and I will get them out to you by tomorrow, Sat. the 24th, the latest. I found some other "purple" foliage seeds, "Purple Lady Iresine" (Iresine herbstii), that you may also be interested in. It grows 6-8" high and 3-4' wide. You could use these in front of the other plants, containerized or in a hanging planter. It prefers afternoon shade.

do you like purple flowers? these are very easy to take care of, drought and heat resistant. they are "malva zebrina", are related to the hollyhock family. beautiful and reliable! Jan
one more---I also have "Hollyhock Queenie"---only grows 2-3' high...see, I found all sorts of purple things that you might like...let me know if you want any, or ALL, of the above.

Thanks for thinking of me. I don't really know what it is about purple and me lol. Last year I put together some stuff and I really liked the way it 'felt' so I'm hooked on it. I have the zabrina, but I would love some of the purple lady and the queenie. I would be glad to get you some more seeds out also if you let me know what you are looking for this year. A lot of my seeds I don't have in a great amount because frankly I don't need really large amounts, but what I have I am very happy to share. I have quite a bit of nicotiana and several different types of morning glorys as well as other vines. Let me know what you like ok?

Don't "worry" about sending me anything else right now. I'm proud to be enabling another gardener...as I am addicted to gardening and I like to spread this addiction.
Watch for other newbies and help them out. Many DG'ers have been quite generous with sharing seeds and cuttings with me and so I am passing on the kindness.

I just copied the pictures from the website where I ordered the seeds from originally...I do hope that this is "OK" (GULP!!!). I do have many garden pics but this way you can see the beauty of each particular plant/flower.
I don't that the fbi is looking for you lolol. I think when its not ok, it usually says so - but don't hold me to it lol.

You have good timing! Your seeds came in the mail today, as a matter of fact I just opened them. I thought it would take even longer considering all of the snow and ice. Kudos to the PO lol. Thank you so much for the seeds Janis, I was beginning to think I wouldn't find the alternanthera, and I really wanted some for this year. The others are new to me so I really look forward to seeing what they look like, especially the dwarf hh, after seeing that pic. I appreciate your trading with me and I hope we can trade again soon.
