I've planted 18 tomato seeds in jiffy-7 pots, half "better boy" and half burpee's roma. All but two of the romas have sprouted and for the last week they've just been two inches tall with those first two "non-leaves" on them. I don't have much experience with tomatoes. Is there something I need to do now, or is this just the waiting part?
TIA!
tomato help, please
If the seedlings are too cold, the growth will slow down. Do you have them under light? The seedlings will need 16 to 18 hours of light to stay nice and compact.
No, they're just in my kitchen. Thanks for that, though -- I'll set up something this evening to make sure they get plenty. I'm seeing some real leaves forming!
I also checked the tomato forum (DUH!) and got some good input there.
