Hi there,
I've posted a few times, but haven't intro-ed myself. I live about 20 miles outside of Boston in Framingham. My biggest achievement so far (other than surviving having 2 children ages 11 and 12) is an 80 ? foot long cottage garden in my front yard. If it survives the current cold temps, it will be in its 3rd year and hopefully the roses will be something to look at!
I've enjoyed reading some of your posts and look forward to talking to you all further.
Have a warm day !

Hi Tamberlin! This is a great group. I only joined in January, and I have received lots of great advice and support from members.
Welcome Tamberlin. I'm new too. A cottage garden...I bet it's a pretty place.
Hi y'all.
It's actually "warmer" out there today. I walked the dog and my eyeballs didn't freeze in about two minutes!
Thanks for the great greeting. This seems to be a fun and informative group to be a part of.
Seandor - I liked your thread about the "fantasy garden". I havn't gone that far, but I do have what my kids call a "fairy garden"....
:)
BTW: My oldest is a huge Lord of the Rings fan... even after the crush on Legolas is over.

Hi Tamberlin. I guess I'm as old to this forum as they come. But it's only a year old. Welcome!
Dave
Welcome Tamberlin, look forward to seeing some photos this year.
Dave - do you have tenure yet?
Hi, Tamberlin. You'll love it here. I spend a lot of time on the rose forum, too. maybe I'll see you there :0) and the cottage garden forum. I'm wanting to start a cottage garden and we just got the new forum started so maybe you can give me (and the others) some pointers.
if you have pics from last year we'd love to see them. no need to wait for new ones.
Hi Tamberlin and welcome to Dave's Garden and the Northeast Gardening forum. Gram's right - we'd love some photos. We need something to give us happy spring thoughts on these cold winter days.
Beautiful! Such vibrant color.
Thanks! My DH is an amatuer photographer. I get to use his gear occasionally. :)
We have quite a few butterflies and hummers around here in the summer.
Tamberlin
that's beautiful, Tamberlin. thanks for posting it! I have a garden dedicated to butterflies and hummers! this year I'm putting in a lot more host plants for the butterflies so I hope to see more different species.
Tamberlin, That was the perfect relief from winter. Nice picture.
Al, No tenure here. Who do I apply to?
Dave, I think tenure is self-declared
Andy - I really enjoy your Welcome photos - very nice.
I've got tenure!
Welcome! I'm from Long Island. Not as far out as Pirl.
Welcome and nice to meet you :)
Welcome! I'm sure you'll like it here. Nice photo, I could almost smell those lilacs!
Gee, Anita, only 14 more miles and we'd be in the Atlantic!
I'll blow up the water wings!
Hi to you! and welcome to this wonderful place!!!!! finally I found someone else from Framingham... I knew I was not the only one!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kassia!
You live in Framingham and you like roses! Awesome! We'll have to compare notes. I'm over near the Southborough line, north Framingham. You?
