fish oil and niacin

Hello everyone, just a update on my diabetes,i am doing well,so far i am under control,have lost from 244 to 218.
but on jan 20 my hubby had a stroke,he is doing better but still haveing a hard time.
his dr. which is vascular surgern, he has put my hubby on fish oil and niacin, he toled us if we both would take it we would see a big different in our health,so we have started it ,is anyone else takeing it are know anything about it.Dr.Royalty says he been takeing it far years and had some test done on his carotid artery and he was so clean,he toled us if everyone would take it they wouldn,t have these problem. and they don,t cost that much.
