trois: I understand the Cedar Waxwings usually travel in groups. The only time I saw them they were eating berries on a bush. There was about 12 of them. What a thrill! My daughter-in-law called me just minutes ago to tell me about a newspaper picture of a group of CW eating berries on a bush outside the courthouse in Gainesville, FL (which is not far from us). They must be migrating through our area. I will sure keep a lookout wherever I see the bushes w/berries.
Thanx for the picture you shared with us, trois.

Joyce, I was just out mowing some tall clover when a flock of about 50 or more Cedar Waxwings landed nearby in a small tree. I rushed to the house for the camera, but they left as I came near them. No pix. This is only the third time I have seen them. The one pictured above was a loner.
The Robins have been here since mid December.
Thanks for the compliment!
