Great Job Debbie! Please tell me what type of soil you used there!

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Actually it wasn't goin too good at first. I had them all covered with a clear dome and I guess I caught em just in time. I posted a thread about my rotting leaves. Then I uncovered them and started spraying with Dyna-Gro Neem Oil and they got better and started makin babies. I think I've got it figured out now!!

I use a mix I made:
1 pt Coir
1 pt Shultz AV mix
3 pt Perlite
1/2 pt vermiculite
a little bonemeal

Hey! Way to go!

They look great. Isn't it so much fun to grow babies from leaves? I really enjoy it.

Can you tell us which babies you are growing?

Thanks

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Thanks yal!! I'm so excited!! Now, what to do with em.

Maureen, the one on the top left is Fairy Fountains(a trailer) and the top right is Granger's Heart's Desire. There's one of those on Ebay right now at 45.00. I have 2 leaves of that one goin. The rest I'm not sure. I can't see the names on the pots like they're sitting and I don't wanna disturb em in the makin babies mode. LOL

Baja - that Granger's Heart's desire is really beautiful. quite expensive too. I just looked it up on ebay. How much did you pay for the leaves of that? and is it a chimera or "like a chimera"?
Good idea to not disturb the "makin baby mode" :-)

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Granger's Heart's Desire (3407) 05/01/1978 (Eyerdom) Double blue and white frilled. Quilted, ruffled. Large
Is a rare Vintage plant each picture in FC showing different.
There are a few plants that bloom Chimera Stripes that can be progated by leaf.
Granger's Heart's Desire is not registered as a Chimera ?
One picture in FC has double flowers.
One has single with stripes. . Thus the Chimera looking one might be Sporting ?
Either way a wonderful plant ! And terrfic babies
Here is one picture from FC

Maureen, the leaf was given to me by a seller on Ebay that happens to live in Tulsa. Then I met her at an AVSA meeting where she brought me my AV that I won and she brought a bunch of leaves.
