Viewing Photo Assistance

I recently discontinued the use of the trial version of Corel Snapfire. Now when I try to save a photo from email the photo is viewed through Window Picture & Fax Viewer??? I cannot save the file without just right clicking on the email and then save as a jpeg. In addition when I try to just view photos they come up through the Window Picture and Fax Viewer. I do have HP and camedia as photo programs how do I set one of them as the default for viewing photos? I can't remember how I viewed them prior to the Snapfire?
