Honey, where ya been hiding? Great stuff here!! I think your begonia in post http://davesgarden.com/forums/p.php?pid=3156522 is Lemon Shag. Did you get it at PHOE?
I dont think that one above is Ludwig, she's got more of a burgundy leaf. Perhaps Butch recognizes it.

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

yeah lemon shag. i know i have ludwig around somewhere possibly the last photo. i got most of them at phoe when you were here. my paleata, marmaduke, and a couple of rexes didn't make it. are yours flowering yet?

paleata is growing like a weed for me- seems to do well here. I've taken half a dozen cuttings at the arboretum and they took off! I don't grow Marmaduke (yet!) and most of my rexies are in a semi-dormant state.
Several are flowering, but not too many. Mostly the dragon wings right now. They seem to bloom all year for me.

candela: Lovely Begonia's ..... Love that 'Carribean King'! I don't know a lot about Begonia's but you've got some beauties there!

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

Oh it must be nice to grow begonias outdoors year round, in the ground (or in a pot). I really like the darker leaf ones such as C. King and C. Corsair.

That one isn't Mrs. Ludwig (it does have burgundy/chocolate hues) but I have no idea what that one is. Lemon Shag reminds me of Challenger and Cachuma (although Cachuma has red hairy petioles). It will be another 2 to 3 months before I can start moving mine outdoors. (Yuk).
