Pam,Yes its perlite.Back then I actually thought vermiculite and perlite were the same thing! LOL.Wonder if they would have grown faster if I;d have used vermiculite?

Nice looking plantlets you have.I love to see the babies! Sorry to hear Toorooka and Wee Willie didn't make it. I lost both of them on the cold window sill and jitterbug,poor things turned to mush.Straight perlite,I've heard of that but never tryed it. Interesting what leaves will grow in.
