Freezing tomato seeds

Greensboro, AL

I have heard you should not freeze tomato seeds that they loose their gemernation strenght. Anyone know something about this. I freeze all kinds of seed for the next year and do not see any difference in them and new ones.

I don't think that's true. I get many volunteers growing in my garden, and those seeds have been frozen in the ground for several months. Michigan winters can be brutal and they haven't hurt those seeds a bit.
