St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

This is Oxalis obtusa. Many thanks to Monica (zest) in Denmark for sending me bulbs of this one.

A nice sight in mid winter :)

Oxalis lobata does great outside in the winter here. It's esp nice if it occasionally stops raining and the sun comes out. They will not bloom on cloudy days. =(

Nice pics, as usual Todd. I must admit I have a growing oxalis addiction. So easy and great for the winter.

Nice pic Dale!

I love them Deb. I have lobata but obviously indoors. Actually, its outside for the summer and blooms Sept-Nov,, then I bring it inside. It is nearly dormant now.

Here's a pretty "soggy" pic of O lobata--but at least its from my garden and not from Diane Chapman's website. Telos does have great bulbs.

dmj, I used to grow those outdoors when I lived in Arizona, loved them too.

It appears to be trying to go dormant on me--even though it hasn't really warmed up any. But it has been sporadically blooming since October, can't ask for much better than that. I have a seriously long oxalis ordering list ready for this summer. I feel its important to keep the American economy moving--lol.

Hi Todd
Just found this tread, I am not much around the garden these days, to busy studying.
Just wanted to say that they look very healthy and happy :o))
