Another Question...

Red Oak, NC(Zone 7b)

I have leaf babies of Sunset Beach and Party Dress. My question is they look like they have a "blush" on the leaves. Is it normal and what is it called? I love the look of these leaves. Sunset Beach is my favorite out of all my gift leaves from begoniacrazii.

Not sure why either. Some of mine have the "blush" look as well. Probablly has something to do with environment. I don't think it is a problem.

I didn't think it was a problem. My leaves look healthy so I figured it was something else. Thanks for responding, I don't get many responses from people for some reason.

Achoo,Do you have any pictures you could post? I am not sure but I think the blush is a type of varigation on the leaves perhaps?I'm not certain.I am a realtive newbie of just of few years in the av world.LOL I have 2 plants with pink varigated leaves.Sonoma Lickety Split and Mint Julip. The leaves are a really neat looking pink varigated.I just love the looks of the leaves.I looked up your av's on the avsa website and those are both going to have gorgeous blooms.I wonder how many different types or colors of varigated leaves there are?Hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along and will be able to explain varigated leaves better.Good Luck Growing!

Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera. I really wish I did. The leaves are very pretty. I did wonder if it was varigated leaves, I just wasn't sure.
