Okay folks, Punxsutawney Phil said he didn't see his shadow! I can't wait for our weather to clear up. This has been a year of unusual weather for south Texas. Am glad it didn't snow but am so tired of the dreary rainy days often filled with strong winds. Come on sunshine...I want to see my butterflies again!!!

I'm ready too! Wait...I'm really not! I've got to cut down everything in my beds. Tons of sticks, stalks, cannas...what a mess!
I was wasting time the other day and sat down at the Botanic Gardens and watched over 30 Robins! (I knew Phil wouldn't see his shadow) It was so relaxing to just watch them and a few other birds and squirrels. :)
i don't see how he didn't see his shadow,lol. i am 30 minutes from where phil lives and we have 10-14" of snow here and everywhere around. i so hope he is right, i can't wait for spring to come!! i'm so tired of the below zeros here and the snow, noone can even go anywhere we have been stuck in our houses. i have lots of seeds waiting for spring and ton's in the yard of plants and bulbs i can't wait to get busy doing things here again!! today the sun is out it's up to a high of 9 degrees, and the roads are clear finally yeah! we were all surprised at phil's prediction so everyone cross your fingers he is right this year.
Freaky weather! Yesterday was bright and sunny and even downright hot if you were outside in the sun...and today it's 49...BRRRRR!!!! Below zeroes? Heh! Heh! Sorry, couldn't resist. We whine we it gets below 60 :o)
