I found Bob in late October

you guys might remember him.
Bob didn't make it. He died back in early December.
But, this story is not about his death, but about my new vet here in Kentucky.
Yesterday I got a letter in the mail from Texas A&M vet school and H. Richard Adams, DVM,PhD (Dean)..
It brought tears to my eyes.
It stated:
Dear Lisa,
"It is our privilege to inform you that Dr. Jaco of Companion Animal Hospital has sent a generous donation to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in memory of Bob. We cannot think of a more fitting tribute. This thoughtful contribution was designated to support the Dean's Priority Fund."
You see, Dr. Jaco had to euthanize Bob. His fragile immune system couldn't handle our move from Louisiana to Kentucky. We were so sad to see him go.
Bob's little life was short and for the most part sad. He was abused until he lived with us, his last few months on earth was filled with love and a full belly. Now in his death, he will continue to give.
Being new to Kentucky, Bob was my first critter to visit Dr. Jaco. It will not be my last! Kudos to the good Dr. Jaco.
We miss your silly face Bob.
Bobs meaningful (short) life
