Sorry guys, I just can't think that way ... Feb will dragggggggg on if I keep thinking of spring. I do that in March. LOL
Ugh, I have to go to the Dentist and have my crown put on. I'm actually a little afraid this time. They put the temporary crown on 3 weeks ago and I was in pain for 2 weeks. I never told them, because I know they want to do a root canal if that happens. The pain has finally settled down this week. I'm thinking I will be in pain again after the new crown is on. :oO
But I will live with it.

I'm in a 'Valentine's Day swap for the birds' on a different website. I've got most of my stuff together, but I think I will finish up the boxes and get them out today. I send the one box to my partner and then 2 others to some people I know that need some 'love' in Feb.
I was busy a couple of days ago making heart shaped suet to put in these boxes. Hubby came in all excited (I had the peanut butter out), he thought I was making peanut butter cookies.

brr- heavy snow warning here...did someone say it was Feb? (snow is coming down an inch an hour) Seems like Dec!!
Next week I'm starting my wave petunias. Although I don't know why. If I want until after Memorial Day I can get them for 50 cents!! Guess it's just the excitement of seed starting!! I've always had over 100 geraniums/cuttings, but this year I just legged in three pots of them - no cuttings. Just an off year I guess...
I'm anxiously awaiting Spring!! It was snowing here a little while ago but it has stopped and the sun is out. It's COLD out though and it's supposed to be even colder this weekend. Burrrrrrrrr.........
I also went to the dentist yesterday for a crown prep. I have my temporary in now and it's bugging me. I can't floss next to it and I can 'feel' something around the bottom that my tongue won't leave alone. Ha!! My permanent crown isn't supposed to get put on till March 7th!! They said they'd call me if they get a cancellation. I sure hope it gets put on before there or I'll go nuts.
I'm off to the fruit market in Standish. It's nice to get out of the house for a while. Have a good day.

Yep, I'm in pain. I declined a shot hoping it would'nt be so bad. Yikes, I about jumped out of the chair, even shed a few squeezed out tears. Only the very back ones have given me pain. I took something for it and am doing much better. Loon, I would have gladly lived with the temporary crown to avoid all this pain again ... and I'm NOT a baby about pain.
It's snowing here too. I went out and filled the bird feeders and put out a heart shaped suet.
Ha! I forgot about tomorrow being Groundhog day. Does anyone else watch the movie 'Groundhog Day' every year? Hubby is determined to watch it EVERY year!

I have to go to the mall tonight to pick up my DH Christmas shirt we dropped off at the store Dec 26th to get a large size-can you believe it took this long!!! Its a authentic Detroit Tiger Jersey with the 2006 AL winners patch on it, oh and its palonco #14, I told the guys at the store they need to toss in some Magglio for me now!!! I cant wait to get it finally! i was so worried they were going to scam me and move out of the mall and POOF there goes my $$. But they called and its in-FINALLY
Maybe make a dinner date out of it :) Los Quadros Amigos -yummy and they serve margaritas!!! ;)
Looks like i may be doing a co-op for caladiums and clematis.....I really want more clematis-just need more things for them to climb!

The groundhog says it will be an early spring!! Yea!! I sure hope he's right. I'm ready. Shouldn't complain since winter didn't really start here till mid January. ha!
I think I'll go up to the store and buy some dry gas and put it in my tank. The van stays in the garage but I'm taking no chances. I filled up yesterday. I sure hope we don't lose our power during this mess. I do have a backup generator though and my propane tank just got refilled last week.

Just got back from the store and it was packed...everyone loading up for the storm that is on it's way. I think it has already arrived as our road is half drifted shut. I had the big truck, so I felt safe. I was supposed to go down to Chicago today at noon, but opted out because DIL is due for a baby anytime. Thank goodness I had an excuse!!

No big storm brewing here, just cold and ALL the Road work beginning again in and around Detroit. Took me an extra 15 minutes to get home today, and I already drive 45 minutes one way!!!

DH went out to plow the snow and came in saying it was too windy!! He looked like a snowman...said he will try tomorrow morning. Our neighbors leave for Aruba tomorrow at 6 am...sure hope the airport stays open for them!! Right now it was just shut down for a bit, but they are saying it will open up again.

VERY COLD OUT!!! I went out with DH yesterday to find some drifts to drive threw-we found some good ones-one was at least 3ft high and took half the road!! He plowed the neighborhood driveways and guess what ours is filled in again!!! poor guy!!! He has to un plug it becuz my oldest is coming over for superbowl and food and their car would never make it in! LOL
We didnt get much more snow it was just the winds ALL day long-Hope everyone is safe and warm

WOW! It's cold! The kids insisted on going outside this morning (because there is snow on the ground and they are kids, lol). I told them they wouldn't want to go out. So of course, I bundled them head to toe (that took 15 minutes). They took the dogs out...ran to the woods...and promptly ran back in! My Jake said, "Why didn't you tell us it was like the North Pole!?!" HUH??? Durn kids.
I started some seeds a little over a week ago, but didn't realize that the window I put them by didn't get as much sun as I thought, so I have little spindly things. :(

pepsi- almost all churches here were closed! We are/were drifted in big time. Sunday's paper wasn't even delivered and I am bumbed!! I love to sit and read that!
Winds are still blowing horizontal here- probably filling in the roads again. Wonder how many schools will be closed tomorrow. I've just been sitting here watching the birds pig out. Also been munching all day long..superbowl party started her about 8am!! LOL
Hey Sarv, don't know about the schools, don't have any younguns that go here ;o) But if I did they would be staying home. It is just way way to cold... And around here the buses just don't give out enough heat to keep all them younguns warm...
